Elliot D. Lasson, Ph.D., ABPP, SHRM-SCP
Elliot D. Lasson, Ph.D., ABPP, SHRM-SCP is a Board Certified Licensed Psychologist and Human Capital Consultant with a diverse practice that includes workplace crisis intervention, HR expert witness, career coaching, exam development, and training. He has held positions in the private, public, non-profit, and consulting sectors.
Dr. Lasson has expertise in the workplace, careers, and job search and has shared his thought leadership in print, on a blog, and through media appearances. He also serves as Professor of the Practice and Graduate Program Director of a Masters of I/O Psychology program at a public university. Dr. Lasson has been featured in media appearances on Maryland Public Television, WBAL Radio, and Fox45 Baltimore, as well as articles on Baltimore Business Journal, Yahoo! Finance, Baltimore Jewish Times, and Huffington Post.
Dr. Lasson earned his B.A. in Psychology from UMBC. He has an M.A. and Ph.D. in I/O Psychology from Wayne State University. He also earned a Bachelor’s of Talmudic Law from Ner Israel College. Dr. Lasson holds certification as a Senior Human Resources Professional from the SHRM and HRCI. Dr. Lasson received Certification in Assisting Individuals in Crisis and Group Crisis Intervention from ICISF.

Dr. Lasson resides with his wife in Baltimore and among other interests, is both an avid Ravens fan and aficionado of the Babylonian Talmud.
